Memories of Randy Parish
Randy Lee Parish age 51, passed away peacefully, surrounded by those who loved him most, at St. John hospital on May 31, 2010. He was born September 22, 1958, in Kansas City, MO to Ronald and Evelyn Parish who instilled in him the kindness, generosity and love for adventure that inspired all who were blessed enough to know him. On May 1st, 1981, he married the love of his life, Mary Finley. Inseparable through thick, thin, sickness and health, they raised two daughters to live passionately and expect nothing less than a lifetime of friendship and selfless devotion from the institution of marriage. Randy never hesitated to tell you he loved you, gave of himself if he had it, and treated every minute on earth as a gift. He was a husband and father to inspire generations; he was a man of honor, a fear- less leader, a great friend to many, a teacher by nature, a mechanic, a rancher, a hunter, a bicyclist, a craftsman and a master of ceremonies. Above all, he was good. A man after Godís own heart. And he will be deeply missed. He was preceded in death by his mother, Evelyn Parish, and one brother, Ronnie Parish. He is survived by his wife, Mary, his daughters and their spouses; Piper and John Dunlap, Jenks, OK, and Hailey and Peter Kern, Missoula, MT. He is also survived by his father, Ronald Parish and wife Marj of Cassville, MO, and sister, Karen Watts, Tulsa, OK. A celebration of his life will be held Tuesday, August 3rd, at 10 a.m., at Five Oaks Lodge, Jenks, OK
